I found out that blue ringed octopus their bodies are 5 cm long and their arms are 10 cm long.

This week in maths we did 12 by 12 and the basic facts test and I got 100 it was really fun but we only got 6.30 mins i got it in 3.45mins LPG 8

This week in maths we did word problems and 12 bye 12's it was so fun because you could challenge yourself in maths like it goes up to I think 24 but it was really fun .LPG14 15 16 17.

This week in reading we read about Henderson Island and how its the most polluted place on Earth that's so sad for the environment also there's more plastic bags than fish and there is 38 million pieces of waste. There is 68 percent of the junk is buried under the sand.They found trash from China,Japan and chile also bottles from Canada.We need to keep the sea green not covered in rubbish.LPG3

This week in writing we did narrative writing it was so fun so what we had to do is get in a group then we get a picture and then write down key words,sentences and similies.lPG20

This week in reading we did a dust jacket and it was so fun because you got to draw bacically the whole thing.LPG3

This week in maths we did multiply fractions by fractions it was kind of hard but easy at the same time.

This week in writing we did alot of poems and my favourite was the limericks and the class shared some of them.

This week in reading we had to make a cover of a book called not so normal and it took so long just to do what I did.

This week in maths we learnt multiplication in  math  here is an example   .54x65  50x60=3000
5x4=20

Here we have done a reading activity and before that we read the were-nana and yo had to try write about a story that was like that .

lake ora

This week we published our recount of Lake Ora and it was pretty easy.As you can see I did alot of recrafting and it's pretty hard to read because words are just everywhere.

This week we did  spelling activities and I chose follow the swirl and it is super fun.So what you do is draw a swirl and then write your spelling words on it.

This week we worked on procedural writing.  To work on it I did it at home,and it takes longer than you think.

This week ,one goal I worked on was ''Thousands in numbers'' .

What I did to work on it was practice at home and at school. I learnt how to know how many thousands in a number. So 
lets set this as an example 2245 there would be 2 thousands in that number.

This year in maths we are doing number lines  and we are also playing rocket. And of cause we did work
 sheets and we also have goals and we try to complete them so I practice at home to get them write and this what some people in pod 5 are doing this term.

This year we are looking at the learning pit.The learning pit is where you learn not a place to muck around. Work hard to get into the learning pit because it is very fun to learn new thing and play around with heaps of ideas you should try it.

This year we learnt how to draw with a complex or just a sentance.The picture you create it on Texter.
Its a pretty good website because you can do any tipe of picture or art.You can change the colour and like the sentance or the different backround colour
